Florin Healthcare is a family-run business, owned by couple, Karis and Kane, and they chose its name after the first house they purchased together. ‘Florin’ signifies a new home and a new beginning, The same as when our candidates start the new chapters in their careers and lives too.

Founder & Director – Karis Igoe

Karis has amassed over 7 years Elderly care home recruitment experience, starting off many years ago working to supply nursing homes with permanent and temp nursing staff, to then progressing on to provide more technical headhunting services for middle and senior management within the elderly care sector.

Over the last few years Karis has elevated her skillset once again, and now also specialises within Executive/C-suite level search and selection for the private healthcare market.

Karis is passionate about what she does, and over the years has built her client base, based on friendships, loyalty and mutual respect for the care industry.

She is a firm believer in relationships are built over time, and once people give the chance to get to know her, they see the person behind the professional exterior is also someone they can also have fun with and relate to!

Founder & Director – Kane Tonge

Kane has over 10 years’ experience within the Recruitment and Fundraising Sectors. While in University, Kane began his career working for charities such as Cancer Research, British Heart Foundation, Macmillan, and Marie Curie as a Local Fundraiser raising awareness for some amazing causes. After completing a Master’s degree in Finance & Management, his career then took a slightly different path into Recruitment where he has spent the last 6 years working on Mid Management and Senior Level appointments initially within the Construction Industry before transferring to Elderly Care Homes in 2020.

Over the Last 4 years Kane has worked with Elderly Care providers from all over the country helping them secure the best talent to join their business. He now provides a bespoke 1 on 1 service for middle and senior management appointments within the private elderly care sector.
